Mikhail Dewhirst and Sarah Ryland have known each other since primary school. They met in Wakefield, a small village on the outside of Nelson, New Zealand. Often trawling the streets, and getting up to all sorts of mischief, they formed a lifelong bond. They introduced their Mothers who are also still friends to this day, and on occasion their families still gather for family dinners together.

Mikhail, a dedicated dahlia grower, and Sarah, a fine art photographer, have combined their skills resulting in this stunning series of floral dahlia prints. Titled "No Rain, No Flowers”, these images celebrate the beauty and resilience of life. With the mixture of vibrant colours, moody compositions and purposeful texture, they’re sure to bring any space to life. Let them serve as an uplifting daily reminder that the rain certainly is necessary for growth.
